Lap Harp - new design and build

September 2024 - A Lap Harp now in the construction phase. This is my own design and I can't wait to hear it being played. Construction photos will be added as the project progresses.
Choroi Childrens Harp
A small 7 String Pentatonically tuned instrument. Some zither tuning pins are not holding and bridge had been incorrectly modified. Seemed such a pity not being able to be played and enjoyed. Work in Progress - Drill and plug all the pin positions and relace the bridge.
John Blount Harp - 29 String Restoration
A 29 String (F-F) - Needs bridge pin and lever work. Then of a good clean. (August 2022)Levers now fitted and woodwork cleaned and oiled. Almost ready to be played. (Sept 2022)
30 String Morley Harp
September 2022 A very special harp in need of some love and attention. Tappered tuning pins all corroded, some previous repairs to neck need attention, paddles need work and harp needs strings replaced. Yes - Brass Paddle or Blade Levers.
Harp from the Baltic Area
22 String harp from the Baltic Region. Nice to have a change from lever harps. Brass bridge and string mount servely damaged at one end.
Keith Harrison Harp
August 2021 Sound Board replaced with a Baltic plywood board and addtitional strengthing provided to side wall edges.
